i guessed i kinda owe u guys abt hw my anniversary dinner went. well, so here it is. =)

was deliberately initially if i shld haf a bbq at seletar reservoir or dinner at sme place nice. in e end, i've decided to eat dinner at sme place nice coz well, den i can dress mei mei. its been long since i dress mei mei le. nw no work so everyday oso wear so sloppily. keke... plus, i tink mayb our vday celebrations den we do e bbq tingy as everywhere will b so packed n perhaps got surcharge ma so can bbq away at our own chosen pte quiet corner. den go whichever nice restaurant sure c couples wif flowers. sians diaos. coz i noe dar sure wun buy me any flowers wif high rocket high prices. but its ok la. i tink its dumb too. e florists earning all e xtras. but i do expect a bouquet of flowers during my bday. haha...

last yr before my bday, i kept telling dar he muz send my flowers to my bank. show off ma. haha... coz all e girls DO tat. =I but i had resigned by den n we had a major quarrel e day before. though he did make up by buying a bouquet to humour me days after in e end. =)

continuing, so i chose to eat at mt faber altivo's hill bistro coz it looks like an intimate place in e pics on their webbie. e hill bistro is e 1st 3 pics. e rest r its main dining area, veiwing deck n lounge which is a short walking distance away, like 300m, fr hill bistro.

dar cldnt take leave coz hes working afternoon shift n for afternoon shift they dun approve leaves. =( but he requested to go early which they granted. note his early is smeting like 8pm. (afternoon shift is fr 3pm to 11pm officially)

i went to buy a cake n sme sparklers in e evening at bt panjang plaza. picked cal up fr her hse after tat coz she was so nice to look after regan. =) regan simply adores her coz she really plays wif him. usually i leave him to do his own activities ma.

got hme wif e entourage, dolled up den went to pick dar up fr work at abt 8.30pm. behind schedule le. coz i bked e table for 9pm. but anways, picked him den came back so he can dolled up too. haha... i've chosen his clothes n ironed dem already.

left e hse at 9.30pm. got there at 10pm.

we were at e main dining area 1st n e place looks great. den dar says eat there coz its simply so lovely wif a fantastic sea view. but i told him tat e pics for e hill bistro was EVEN better. so we asked e waiter where it was as we cldnt find it n was told we muz walk a few steps to hill bistro.

so took a nice lomantic stroll. but when i got there, i was ._." coz e place was so tiny. e view was boring can. e pic was lying lor. *wails* but we already walk there lazy to walk back n its kinda late le so dar says eat there lor.

i had pasta n dar had chicken. e food was horrible. its nt those cooked there type but reheated type so e chicken was hard n e pasta wasnt like freshly prepared. n for e prices they r charging, i feel so cheated. plus it was noisy can. there were oni like 10 tables. e tables u c in e 1st pic is already half of e place le. =( bad bad bad. it was nt even a candle light dinner, mre like oil light (those use for praying type) dinner. *wails even louder*

can u imagine we ate e food n finished up e drinks at 10.30pm? so fast rite. haha... den dar says go hme lor since eat finish. i din tell him abt e cake as i wanted to surprise him. so i say y nt find a place sit dwn lomantic awhile before going back since still early.

at 1st we were so behind schedule but nw we r so ahead of it coz told cal b hme abt 12am ma.

we wanted to go back our v special spot but we missed it n din wan to drive all e way dwn hill n turn up again so make do at another area lor.

he wasnt really surprise by e cake la. coz he noes i always will get a cake to celebrate anyting one. but he dun. so sad hor. i'm doing all e work. =P

anyways we found a nice spot n sat dwn. took out e cake, stick e candles in, sang a song, blew e candles n juz as i was cutting our big cake (its a strawberry mousse heart shape cake fr 4 leaves btw), a couple was walking pass us n stopped. as 1st fr far i cld hear dem chatting. e ger seems like fr china one. initially i was tinking if shes a pro or trying to hook e sg guy lor. den suddenlu they stood right in front of us n look at us. it was a small pathway n we were sitting on e bench beside e small pathway.

i felt odd wif e 2 of dem staring so intently so near us n tinking when they will move off after luffing at e both of us cutting a big cake in their minds. =( suddenly e guy shouted 'charlie'. i'm was like 'huh? charlie who?' when dar oso replied 'charlie'. haha... chey, its dar's fren.

but its so furnee lor. i mean they r camp mates n they haf not seen each other for 2 yrs. of all places, they haf to meet at dis tiny pathway in mt faber at e middle of e nite when everyone is trying to b discreet coz they wan to pak tor. *faints*

so they chatted abit while i was looking stupid still wif e big cake in my hand. well, e cake is v yummy one but as it was in e car for sme time n it has melted so more like drinking mailk shake pattern. but still ok la. =)

after we ate sme cake, see sme stars n chat sme bit, we headed hme. walked past dar's fren n said 'charlie' again. asked dar wat does e 'charlie' means he dun even rem but said it all e same. he cant recall e fren's name too as they haven seen each other for so long. mayb tat guy too, tats y he went 'charlie'. haha...

but its still comical la. when we were sitting there, on n off dar wld look after n happen to see his fren (they were sitting like 5 benches away) n they wld wave their hands n smile. its so unlomantic can. mayb he wan to do smeting wif e gf or gf-to-b (i suppose) oso nv. pai say ma. den me n dar is no hanky panky one la. married so long le, wan oso do at hme away fr all those prying eyes. haha...

regan wasnt asleep yet when we got back coz he was so happy playing wif cal. but can tell he was so tired.

i sent cal hme after tat. coz cal stands near mt faber as such i went tat way 3 times within 6 hrs. *bleahz* =P but i still wan to say a big thank u to her. 'THANKS CAL!'

got hme after sending cal, regan was fast aslp. haha... told u hes really tired. dar said he fell aslp within 3 counts. =) den i went to make sme maggi mee to eat wif dar can. spend a gd $60 on a dinner n we werent full. duh!

wanted to ta bao after i send cal hme but i forgot my wallet. *bleahz*

but overall it was nice la (even wif e lousy food) comparing tat we missed 2 anniversaries straight. well, nxt yr wld b better i promise. =) starting to plan le. haha... tinking of eating at bobby rubinos at chjmes. i luv tat place plus it doesnt hurt tat its food is nice. its quite a memorable place for us too.

anyways, theres free flow of finger food at bobby rubinos on tuesdays. v worth it. say wan to go v long le still no go. perhaps one of these days i shld walk my talk. hee... ;)

so tats hw my anniversary went. din take a lot of pics. dar oni took 1. theres mre actually but he says he look horrible n went to delete all save 1. tat precious 1. sobs...

nxt on e agenda, vday dinner. hee... anyone wans to volunteer their kid-sit svc? haha... i'm flexi. was tinking celebrating on either 13-feb coz 14-feb sure everyone lomantic-ing. =)
